The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction works across all project stages.
Job responsibilities
- Study and apply applicable construction quality standards, norms, and regulations.
- Develop and implement QC plans, checklists, and quality assurance procedures.
- Establish effective monitoring and inspection methods, including visual checks, lab testing, and instrument-based evaluations.
- Conduct incoming material inspections based on certificates of compliance, laboratory results, and technical documentation.
- Perform regular site visits and inspections; identify deviations from specifications and recommend corrective measures.
- Ensure ongoing works meet design requirements, technical documentation, and quality standards.
- Carry out detailed inspections upon completion of works.
- Prepare acceptance documentation in accordance with handover requirements.
- Record and track deficiencies, overseeing corrective actions until resolved.
- Maintain comprehensive QC records and manage both ongoing and final quality documentation.
- Collaborate closely with design and construction teams to clarify documentation, improve processes, and enhance overall quality control.
Required qualifications and skills
- Higher education, preferably in engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in quality control or technical supervision.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and norms (Armenian national standards, СНиП, ISO, ASTM, EN).
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting laboratory test results.
- Solid understanding of construction materials, processes, and methods.
- Confident user of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and quality management software.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in English and Russian is a strong advantage.
